Lutterworth   6pts:   v  Towcestrians 30pts

Lutterworth started very strongly once again and were eventually rewarded with a penalty converted by Bobbie Williams. The totally against the run of play Towcester made a break form their own half to go over for an unconverted try. Lutterworth then continued to dominate without adding to their points total, and Towecester came back with another try which was converted about 5 minutes before half time.

Half-time:            3-12

After the break Lutterworth again applied pressure and Williams converted another penalty and made the score 6-12. Halfway through the second half Towecester came back strongly as a result of good tactical kicking from their numbers 10 and 15 after Lutterworth had gained hard fought yards. Eventually the pressure told and the visitors went over for a well worked try after a driving maul from and attacking line out, which was converted. The visitors then tightened the screw by scoring two penalties, and a very late try to record a hard fought victory.

Final score:            6-30.
