Towcester 49pts  v  Lutterworth  5pts

Towcester kick off and good forward play keeps Lutterworth deep in their own 22 area, until Uldis Krievs kicks clear to take Lutterworth upto the half way line. Towcester keep on the pressure and when they break form a maul and pass the ball out wide, they produce an overlap and touch down in the corner, missed conversion. Lutterworth come straight back on the offensive from the kick off and good play from forwards Alex Head and then Jarrad Carter take play into the Towcester 22 and when Towcester are penalise from the penalty the ball is passed inside to Sam Huckerby who crashes over in the corner, Uldis Krievs misses conversion. From the kick Lutterworth knock on and give Towcester a strong attacking position and from the following ruck Lutterworths Sam Huckerby is hurt (gouged
eye!!!) and has to leave the field. With this Towcester take the initiative and run in three tries before half time to lead comfortably at the break.

Lutterworth kick off the second half but it is all one way now and Towcester continue to dominate in the forwards and backs and when more Lutterworth injuries force changes there is little Lutterworth can do in reply and Towcester run in 5 tries in the second half with no reply from Lutterworth to run out comfortable winners
