Lutterworth  19pts V  Chesterfield  17pts

On a lovely sunny morning Chesterfield kick off and Lutterworth catch the ball cleanly and pass across the backs to take play into the Chesterfieldhalf. Good forward play recycling the ball by Chesterfield puts the pressure onLutterworth and when again they pass the ball out wide a overlap gets them over the try line scoring in the corner, try converted to take 7 point lead.

Lutterworth are spurred on by this and great work by Jarrad Carter and HarryGregory set up Sam Huckerby for a break through the Chesterfield backs to give Lutterworth their first try, conversion missed by Harry Gregory. Chesterfield come straight back at Lutterworth and from a scrum 10 yards out they eventually dive over to take the lead again, missed conversion. Lutterworth again lift their game and the forwards move the ball deep into the Chesterfield half. Good breaks by Leo Sollit and Chris Gutteridge lead to a maul where Sam Huckerby crashes over, Uldis Krievs converts to level the scores.

Lutterworth kick off the second half and it is end to end stuff with both defences coming out on top but  when Chesterfield break through and dive over in the corner with 5 minutes remaining it looks all over, but Chesterfield miss the conversion to give Lutterworth a glimmer of hope. Again Lutterworth will not give up and with time running out Harry Gregory picks up with 5 yards to go but is held up. Sam Huckerby takes the ball on but is held up right on the try line and Alex Head takes it over for Lutterworth to draw level. Uldis Krievs converts to give Lutterworth the lead and they hang on for the last minute for a hard fought victory.
