Syston 48pts  v  Lutterworth  12pts

Lutterworth kick off and the ball is taken by the syston forwards who take the ball back into the Lutterworth half. From the breakdown Lutterworth get the ball and pass it across the backs but a knock on gives a set scrum to Syston, they pass the ball wide and their winger sprints around the defence and the full back to score in the corner, missed conversion.

From the restart Lutterworth regain the ball and the forwards put some pressure on the Syston defence. Breaks by Alex Head and Sam Weatherall are kept out but when Sam Huckerby breaks from a maul he dives over to level the scores and Uldis Krievs converts to give Lutterworth a slender lead. The lead does not last very long as the slick Syston backs run in three further tries before half time to give them a comfortable lead.

The second half goes much the way of the first syston score a try and Lutterworth substitute Harley Lambianou replies for Lutterworth, but Syston then run in three more tries without reply to run out comfortable winners.
