Lutterworth  10pts v Broadstreet 29pts

Lutterworth kick off deep into the Broadstreet 22 but the Broadstreet forwards get the best of the early exchanges putting the pressure on the Lutterworth defence, but Lutterworth win the ball and flanker Sam Weatherall goes on a run through the Braodstreet defence upto their 22. Lutterworth knock on and from the set scrum Broadstreet pass the ball accross the backs and create a overlap to score in the corner.

Broadstreet forwards keep the momentum and when they are held up on the Lutterworth line 3-4 times eventually they break through in the corner to score again. With the first half coming to an end Lutterworth forwards start to put some pressure on the Braodstreet defence and after 3 phases of recycled ball No. 8 Chris Gutteridge peels off from a maul runs around two defenders but is tackled into touch trying to off load the ball. Again Braodstreet counter attack and break down the wing and when they are stopped by full back Simon Sandercock they recycle the ball and break down the opposite wing to score again.

Broadstreet kick off the second half hoping to improve on their lead, but it is the Lutterworth forwards who come out with a bit more fight and first Sam Weatherall then Alex Head break through the gain line and when the defence holds them up Alex Head peels off a maul breaks the tackle to touch down and reduce Lutterworths deficit. Back come Broadstreet and when Lutterworth try to kick clear from their own 22 the Broadstreet full back takes the ball and runs it into the corner. Straight from the kick Lutterworths flanker Sam Weatherall catches the ball and crashes through the Broadstreet defence to score and get Lutts back in the game. Broadstreet keep the pressure on and when centre Uldis Krievs runs from the Lutterworth try line he breaks through the blindside then passes to wing Harley Lambrianou who is tackled into touch by the full back. From the last play of the game Lutterworth fail to clear from a scrum on their own 5 yard line and Broadstreet dive on the loose ball to seal a convincing win.
