South Leicester 15pts v Lutterworth 17pts
Lutterworth kick off and take play into the South Leicester 22, the first half develops into a bit of a midfield battle with both sides enveloped into a mainly forward battle with the backs unable to put many phases together. Lutterworth loose their flanker Sam Huckerby early on when he twists his knee in a tackle. Lutterworths Sam Weatherall and Alex Head both make good breaks but are held up and the ball is cleared. Lutterworth finally break through when Jarrad Carter rips the ball from a maul and sets the forwards on a run when they are held up just 5 yards short. Clay Hancock picks up and dives over near the corner Uldis Krievs can not convert. South Leicester come straight back and from a line out 15 yards from the Lutterworth line they throw to the front and back to the hooker who runs down the line and evades the full back to level the scores.

South Leicester kick off the second half which in the wet conditions follows the same pattern as the first. Again Sam Weatherall is the main threat for Lutterworth with a number of darting runs which eventually pay off when he crashes through the South Leicester defence to give Lutterworth the lead, Harry Gregory converts. South Leicester come back though and some good forward interplay gives the winger some space and he dives over in the corner. South Leicester keep the momentum going and again their backs now playing with more composure create some space for the winger to go over in the corner to give South Leicester the lead. Lutterworth though know can possibly win and from a maul again Sam Weatherall breaks and heads for the posts, but is tackled only for centre Beau Green to pick up and dive over to give Lutterworth the lead, Harry Gregory misses the conversion but Lutterworth run out winners by the smallest of margins.
