Lutterworth  34pts  v  Daventry 0pts

In very wet windy conditions Lutterworth forwards take charge of the early exchanges and when they pass accross the backs they get immediate rewards when they create an overlap and winger Simon Sandercock runs around the outside to score in the corner, Jack Tranter misses the conversion from the touch line.

Daventry forwards come fighting back and are just held up on the Lutterworth line, but Lutterworth win the scrum and again pass the ball accross the backs to take play to the half way line. Lutterworth flankers Sam Weatherall then Alex Head take the ball on and when they are held up on the 10 yard line hooker John Harman picks up from the back of the ruck and dives over to increase the Lutterworth lead, Jack Tranter misses the conversion from out wide.

Lutterworth kick of the second half with the wind and rain on their backs and quickly take play into the Daventry 22 yard area where centre Uldis Krievs break through the defence runs around the full back and scores in the corner, Jack Tranter converts from wide to increase the lead further.

With the wind and rain getting worse Daventry are finding it very hard to get out of their half and when fly half Leo Sollit darts through a gap on the half way line draws the full back and passes to No. 8 Chris Gutteridge to run in unopposed it looks all over for Daventry, Jack Tranter converts to increase the lead further. Lutterworth forwards continue to dominate and no. 8 Chris Gutteridge breaks through the Daventry defence goes around the full back to score in the corner.

From the final Lutterworth attack flanker Matt Watson picks up and dives over to seal a convincing win.
