Leamington 20pts  v  Lutterworth  15pts 

Leamington forwards put early pressure on the Lutterworth defence and when they pass the ball accross the backs they create an overlap to score in the corner. Leamington keep up the pressure until centre Uldis Krievs kicks clear. Then flanker Sam Weatherall breaks away and is only stopped by the fullback on the Leamington 22, but Leamington steal the ball and quick ball accross the backs leaves a overlap again and they score in the corner to increas the lead. With the last play of the half Leamington get a scrum on the Lutterworth 5 yard line and the no. 8 picks up and crashes over.

Lutterworth kick off the second half deep into the Leamington 22 knowing they need a early score and from the ruck they pass to centre Uldis Krievs who breaks through the defence  and dives over. Leamington come straight back and again the backs create space and an overlap and when they are tackled they recycle the ball and again go over in the corner. Lutterworth respond positively and breaks from forwards John Harman and Alex Head set up no.8 Chris Gutteridge to take the ball at pace and race into the corner. Lutterworth backs keep passing the ball and eventually create an overlap for winger Josh Shevas who sprints into the corner to bring Lutterworth within one score. Lutterworth surge forward but with time running out and good defence by Leamington th y kick the ball clear and hang on for a narrow win.
