In what were some of the worst playing conditions for a long time, we chose in the first half to play into horizontal driving rain and a gale blowing. The lads held the oppostion to a 15 - 10 lead at half time. the pack as a whole playing remarkably well, keeping the ball tight and managing to score a couple of tries from driving and rucking. At the turn round the rain stopped but we now had the advantage of the wind which man of the match, Aaron dann, used keeping Banbury pinned back in their own half and really good chasing led to errors which we capitalised on by scoring 4 unanswered tries. A really good team effort with both backs and forwardsd playing well. the scorers were; Tom Hooper 2, Nick Daley, Charlie Turner, Aaron Dann and Rob Reeds. Robin Eager converted 4 two massive efforts from the touch line in atrocious conditions.
