Fylde 26pts v Lutterworth  5pts 

Jack Tranter kicks off the game for Lutterworth and their forwards keep the pressure in Fyldes half Until they finally kick clear.  The forwards then take the ball again into the Fylde half but the ball is knocked on and from the scrum Fylde get the ball to their backs where the centre breaks through and is only stopped by full back Jamieson Hodge's last ditch tackle. From the line out Lutterworth centre kicks clear only for the Fylde full back to catch cleanly at pace and sprint round the defence to score in the corner. This leads to a sustained period of pressure from Fylde deep in the Lutterworth half with forwards and backs making great tackles to keep Fylde out but eventually the pressure pays off when again the Fylde centre breaks through and scores under the posts. Fylde convert to increase their lead.

Fylde kick off the second half and Lutterworth know they need to score to get back in the game and excellent forward play from Sam Huckerby and Chris Gutteridge take them into the Fyldde 22, only for Fylde to get possession and clear.  Lutterworth are encouraged by this and pass the ball across the backs for centres Uldis Krievs and Jordan Tebb to both try and break through and with the forwards supporting to keep the ball eventually the pressure pays off when Sam Huckerby breaks from a maul to crash over.  Uldis Krievs just misses the conversion from the touch line. This spurs on Lutterworth but Fylde keep playing the ball to their backs and again the centre breaks through the Lutterworth defence to score. Still Lutterworth take the game deep into the Fylde half but cannot get over the Fylde line and when Fylde turn the ball over and run from their own half  again it is the centre who this time runs around the Lutterworth defence to score in the corner and seal a comfortable win for the home side.
