Lutterworth 2nds 5pts  Kibworth 2nds 10pts  V

Lutterworth welcomed neighbours Kibworth on Saturday for a hard fought game.  Right from the kick off Lutterworth took the game deep into the Kibworth half and after a couple of handling error Lutterworth had a line out on the Kibworth 5 metre line.  After quick short throw in the ball was popped to Steve Lamb who dived over in the corner unopposed.  This was not converted.

For the rest of the half the game was fairly even but the Lutterworth scrum dominated but could not capitalise because of some confusing refereeing decisions.  Just before half time Kibworth put a kick up field and chased it and Lutterworth were beaten by the unlucky bounce of the ball, this allowed Kibworth to catch the kick and to go through and score.  This was converted.  Half time score 5 – 7.

The second half went much the same as the first, with more strange refereeing decisions that did not go in Lutterworth’s favour.  Lutterworth managed to put good passages of play together on to have them dashed at the final move.  Kibworth got a couple of penalties late in the second half, which were easily converted.  Final score 5 –11 to the visitors.
