Lutterworth under 17s good performance, but still loose to Rugby Lions

Lack of match practice still showed in today’s performance but the will to win was definitely back in this gutsy performance by Lutterworth Under 17s.

The first 20 minutes of this game was scoreless, but eventually Rugby lions broke through the defence to core under the posts, even with a second converted try scored just before half time this match was far from over.

However due to a lack of concentration at the restart Lutterworth let Rugby lions have an easy third try just after half time, as a result of this mistake the spirit of the team was broken. Even after a great series of forwards pressure by Lutterworth and a drive over try scored by Ollie Ralston, the result never looked in doubt.

Final score 5-33 to Rugby Lions.
