Lutterworth Under 17s - First match of the season

Vipers scored first and converted and then managed to kick a penalty to give them a 10-0 lead, Lutterworth responded with their own penalty kick by Sam Brookes to bring the score at half time to 3 points to 10.

In the second half Vipers again opened the scoring with an unconverted try, but Lutterworth quickly responded with a try of their own scored by Tom Holman from the back of a ruck, which had formed after an excellent catch and drive from a line out. The conversion attempt by Sam Brookes narrowly missed. The score was now 8 points to 15.

Lutterworth fought hard to try and level the scores, but due to some excellent Vipers defence did not manage to cross the line. Towards the end of the match, Vipers fullback managed to break through and score a try under the posts, which was converted to bring the final score to 8 points to Lutterworth and 22 to Vipers.
