Lutterworth under 17s poor performance after a 3 week lay off

Unfortunately, lack of match practice after a 3 week break and poor fitness showed in a lacklustre performance by Lutterworth Under 17s against Towcester U-17s. 

Towcester scored early on, but Lutterworth quickly responded with a breakthrough try by Scott Ward in corner. Towcester superior fitness then started to show through with them running in four more tries before half time, three of which were converted to bring the score to 5-31 at Half time.

 Early in the second half the Lutterworth forwards responded with a massive drive up field from a line out, unfortunately after spinning out the ball to the backs the ball was lost forwards with a try saving try from the Towcester full back.

 Towcester went on to another try to bring the final score to 5-36 to Towcester.
