Lutterworth under 17s disappointing performance against Leicester Lions

Lutterworth were expected to win this match, having previously beat Leicester Lions twice this season (17-5 and 19-18). However an injury weakened Lutterworth were no match for the Leicester Lions team who were really ‘up for it’.

During the first quarter, the sides seemed to be very evenly matched, with Lutterworth forwards winning their fair share of the ball, however after this Lutterworth started to play the Leicester Lions game out in the backs, this resulted in them running in many tries. We should have kept the ball in the forwards.

Our only try was scored by Dan Wesley in the first half. 5 -17 at half time, 5 – 34 at full time.
