Under 13 Match Report

SUNDAY 14th December 2003

Sutton Coldfield  V  Lutterworth   -  2 Games

Lutts u13’s continue fantastic run

On Sunday Lutterworth under 13’s extended their unbeaten run to 12 games, with two away wins at Sutton Coldfield. Due to the squad size of both these teams, two games were possible as Lutts won 12-0 and 29-0.

Game 1:

A closely fought contest saw Lutts take the lead after camping out in the Sutton half. Quick ball from the scrum saw the ball move through 3 sets of hands and onto Mathew Everard, who drove through to open the scoring. Will Keeling successfully converted the try.

Despite all the Lutts pressure, that score remained until half way through the second half. Once again lovely quick hands saw the ball move from touch line to touch line and onto Keeling who made a great run, beating 3 players, to score. Final score was 12-0 to Lutts.

Lutterworth made it 15-0 at half time through a Jack Edwards try, after a great lay off from Peter Kavanagh.

The second half continued in the same vain as Littlewood scored a great try after a brilliant run down the wing, which saw him eventually score under the post, to make it an easy conversion for Keeling. Littlewood scored his second as he supported Keeling on another great run down the wing and he managed to convert his own try.Final score was 29-0 to Lutterworth.
