Lutterworth under 13’s romp home, in the end!

On Sunday Lutterworth under 13’s played there first home game of the season after two successful away fixtures. They welcomed new opposition in Northampton Old Scouts as coach Chris Everard experimented with some players playing in new positions.

In a tight first half, Tristan Crawshaw opened the scoring for Lutts with a well-taken solo try, which was converted by Will Keeling. Soon after Luke Ball finished off a sweeping move to double the score.

Northampton then had a short spell in the Lutts half and scored with 10 minutes to go to half time. For the rest of the half both teams cancelled each other out, half time score was 12-7

Lutts shuffled the team to more familiar positions and the previous weeks dominance remerged. Trys from Keeling, Josh McLaurin, Mathew Everard (2), Dan Holmes (2) and 6 conversions by Keeling saw Lutts romp home.

A superb 2nd half performance as Lutts under 13’s ran out convincing 54-7 winners.
