Olney Colts XV  24pts v Lutterworth Colts XV  10pts

The Colts travelled away to Olney, Bucks and playing against the wind and up the slope they were soon seven points down. Olney then pressed home their advantage to score an unconverted try. Half-time saw Olney with a 12-0 lead. Lutterworth came straight back into the game in the second half and scored a try by Chris Hammond from a driving maul. Olney replied with a quick try to make it 17-5. Lutts then mounted a series of attacks which ended with a try from Ben Stretton to make it 17-10. Continued attacks from Lutterworth were kept out by Olney and the tactic of throwing the ball about saw Olney intercept at the end of a very entertaining game played to score another try. A credit to both sides.
