Lutterworth 3rd XV 22pts  v   Northampton Mens Own 3rd XV 10pts

Lutterworth struggled to beat a depleted Mens Own team and traded tries in the first half to have a half-time score of 10-10 with Phil Duffin and Mick Breslin scoring . Mens Own were strengthened in the second half when James Doig (sponsored by Carlsberg) came on for Lutterworth but eventually the home teams superiority was rewarded with further tries from Mick Breslin and Duncan Graham  and a conversion from Kev Jones.
