Towcestrians 2nd XV 29pts – Lutterworth 2nd XV 12pts
A keenly fought battle saw the home side take the spoils. Towcester opened their account early on with a penalty kick quickley followed by a try which was converted. They then had a kick rebound off the referee straight into the fly-halfs hands who ran in under the posts, again converted. Lutts scored a well taken try by Duncan Graham, converted by Rob Simister, just before half-time to turn round 17-7 down. After the break Lutts scored another try by John Dalby from a driving maul. Towcester then added a somewhat lucky score which seemed to take the wind out of Lutts sails and with five minutes to go they added another converted try.
