Leics Forest 2nd XV 15pts – Lutterworth 2nd XV 15pts
The 2nds travelled to Leics Forest for the second time in a month but this time coming away with a draw. Lutts started the better and a good line-out move saw skipper Phil Duffin blast his way over for a try. Ten minutes later, winger Rob Simister chased down a kick and ran 40 yds to score under the posts with Kev Jones converting. Forest scored just before half time to turn round 7 pts down. In the second half Forest were the stronger team and eventually scored with just three minutes remaining to bring the sides level. The two young Lutterworth props, Tom Renshaw and Dave Horsefield, deserve mention for good allround performances with both players being regulars of the Colts team
